Absolutely! We are a fourth-generation farm, and family is key. In the summer, we have outdoor games and activities for all ages. Bring the kids and let them run and play while you kick back at a picnic table or join them in a game. In the winter months, we have winter paths to explore and a barn with an activity set up.
Yes, we love our furry family members. Well-behaved dogs are allowed outside on a leash. Our farm dogs wander into the tasting room occasionally; however, we don’t let other pets inside.
We have a few snack items available in the tasting room. On most Friday evenings through the summer, we have live music and a caterer or a food truck on site.
We do. Feel free to bring a picnic or your favorite takeout. However, out of respect for the food trucks that visit us, we ask that you refrain from bringing outside food on the days they are here. That is typically Friday evenings through the summer. Follow our social media or check our event page to see the schedule.
No. It is against our serving license, and if we see you with it, you will be asked to throw it away.
Yes. We have Northwood sodas and waters year-round, along with slushes in the summer. Feel free to bring non-alcoholic drinks onsite.
Yes! We grow the grapes here on the farm and make the wines on-site.
Our ciders start with locally sourced apples, and we make them on-site.
Yes, we started as a cherry farm over 100 years ago and continue that tradition with our patent business, Shooks Farms. The picking season is in July. Follow our social media and event page to find out when our U-pick stand is open and what type of cherry is ready to pick.
We host a variety of events throughout the year, big and small. Annually, we have an anniversary party, mini bikes on the farm, an end-of-summer bash, and a Christmas lights tractor parade. Live music is a feature on Fridays throughout the summer, and we host other things, from paint and sips to farm yoga.
